I got a graphics tablet for easter. It's a Monoprice tablet. It's sooooooooo much fun to use when I get the time to draw with it. I'm creating mostly anime and manga with it, which seems to be a lot easier to do than drawing realism.
For those of you who don't know what Monoprice tablets are, here is a list of their graphics tablets [link] I have a 9" which works just fine for me. Just a warning though: the battery I got with the tablet pen wasn't working (I spent 2 hours figuring that out when I got the table >.<) But the pen uses AAA batteries so it's pretty cheap to replace. It also comes with a bunch of extra plastic nibs and the nibs seem to last a lot longer than Wacom.
I recommend that anyone who wants to try out what it's like to work with a graphics tablet should get a Monoprice because the quality is very good for the price
